The Facilities & Operations department is responsible for the upkeep and care of all physical environments at the University of Miami. Each group of highly skilled mechanics is supervised by a lead technician who ensures the timeliness and quality of work.

Services for Leased Facilities

All issues, repairs, or questions regarding leased facilities should be directed towards the Real Estate Department

Preventative Maintenance

Our department performs planned maintenance of buildings, equipment, and systems which we refer to as preventative maintenance. We have a schedule of preventative maintenance to ensure minimal interruption to daily operations for campus users. In order to administer this program we utilize work order management system.
