The Facilities & Operations Department is responsible for the stewardship of Coral Gables campus and the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science campuses.
The Facilities operation maintains buildings, grounds and infrastructure for 140 buildings, 6 million GFS at Gables Campus; 17 building, 413,223 GSF at Rosenstiel Campus; and 8 buildings, 110,016 GSF at Richmond Campus. Facilities is also responsibile for facilities work control, utilities infrastrucutre, energy management, fire safety, access control, and environmental service contract management
Our teams work closely with one another to provide a host of services to these campuses.
To provide excellence in operations and maintenance for all facilities, campus infrastructure, energy systems, and environmental services in a customer-focused, efficient and effective manner.
Facilities Liaisons and Building Coordinators serve as a primary point of contact in their respective areas, as disseminators of information, and as a resource to ensure we deliver responsive and professional service. We collaborate with Facilities Liaisons and Building Coordinators across the University who are essential partners to Facilities Management. Our collective collaboration is essential to a successful experience at the University.
